Default 4100 SCR Cabinet removal

I have a 1997 4100 SCR and want to replace the JVC stereo, but I can't figure out how to remove the cabinet it is in. Anyone done this or have any ideas?

with your new stereo ..there should be a key that comes with it...it's not really a key per se but a device that you insert it into the sides of the existing stereo and it pushes a tab out of the way so that the stereo pops right out...

welcome to the zoo..the 4100 is a nice boat..

First of all you need to take the trim off carefully. The Radio is just like a car radio. It sits in like a wire cage. The keys should be easily got from any car audio place. push them in the middle down the side until you here a click you then should be able to pull both of them easily releasing the radio.
