4100 SCB - New Owner Questions

Good morning,
I was able to spend some time on my new to me 4100 SCB this weekend (year=2000) and have a couple questions that I'm hoping for some help with.

1. The boat does not drain well when washing the bridge. It seems to be sitting with the nose a bit too low. Is this a common issue? Has anyone tried to correct it?
2. I need to add a transducer for a depth finder. It currently has a transom mounted transducer which works sporadically. I am going to add a shoot thru the hull transducer. Does anyone have suggestions on how to run a cable from the engine room to the bridge?
