Default 4100 SCA forward helm seat

I’m interested in a 4100 SCA but NOT thrilled about that little forward seat in front of the helm. Would really like something that is more of a lounger and usable when not under weigh. Has anyone changed their stock seating?

Also, has anyone done a complete cabin re-carpet? I’m guessing it would be 2-3k.

Welcome to the 4100 SCA world.

Agreed, the SCA's fly bridge doesn't have the lounging comforts afforded by many other models and, aside from storage, the seat forward of the helm is pretty much that - a seat. Because the space is limited - I don't think you want to completely block the awartships passage the current seat allows - I can't think of any way to make the fly bridge more comfortable/loungeable.

We don't lounge much while cruising, but the sun deck (for shaded comfort underway or anchored/moored) and the forward lounge pads (for sunning while anchored/moored) provide us with what we need.
