Default 4100 SCA Aft Cabin

I recently purchased a 1998 4100 SCA. It has the Splendide combination washer & condenser dryer in the cabinet just aft of the bed, port side, aft compartment. Of course it doesn't work so I'm looking at removing it. Will likely repurpose the space for storage.
SO here's the issue. How the heck do I get the machine out of there, short of having to disassemble the entire aft port corner of the compartment?
Anybody been through this.
Any help would be appreciated.

Can't help with answer as mine has closets on both sides of bed, I am interested in seeing a picture of the location, can you post?

I eventually got the broken down machine out of there. I had to disassemble most of the corner cabinet. Once I got it into the main salon, I took it apart and removed it from the boat piece by piece. I gained a whole lot of storage space. I'll try to get a picture posted.

1999 4100 SCA owners, six years. We do not have the installed washer and drier. With our AICW/OWW/GIWW/St Johns River cruising we have never found the need to do laundry on board. We rarely go more than a week on the hook. When we're in a marina we do laundry if necessary. IMHO the extra storage space is worth removing the units
