Default 3500 extended swim platform

I have a 2002 3500 scr. Does anyone have the extended swim platform? I was hoping for dimensions and pics. Trying to find dinghy storage solutions and I think swim platform would work the best for accessibility and ease of use. Most of the davit systems seem to be geared towards boats with lower height above water.

Yes I researched and so far no one makes a swim platform for the 3500 they said they would make a one off but I want it to look factory so I was hoping someone on the forum had one and wouldn't mind measuring. I think I may go look at a boat for sale that has one from the factory to see first hand.

Did Maxum make extended swimplatforms as an option in 2002?

Not sure My winter storage marina installs them. They don't look factory installed-nothing will. However, they look OK. As you probably know, they are mounted over the original and there are 3-4 stainless steel support under the platform. Can't see them when your in the water. You can always add the teak finish. swimplatforms has a pic of a smaller Maxum and it pretty much looks like that.

I had a swim platform fabricated and fitted to my 2001 3500scr some years ago and a rail fitted to attach the dinghy. It fits under the original platform so is a few inches step down which makes it much easier accessing the dinghy when its in the water.. The swim ladder was relocated to the side. I was quoted US $15.000 plus fitting for the factory platform so having one fabricated and fitted cost about one third of that. Will try and send you some photos when I next go to the boat.

Hi, I connected with Kelly Anne from Mountain marine.
Swim Platform Super Store. Everyone was telling me I had to make a template but she actually has it for the Maxum 3500 SCR. They are all the same for 2000-2005 anyways. I just installed mine myself. It shipped and arrived as described and looks like factory! Local shop quoted me about $10k for everything. cost me about a quarter of the price including shipping and it fit like a glove with almost no shaving! I would highly recommend. Happy to send you pictures of the final product if you wish!
