Default 3200scr water in bilge and lean

Hi all

My 1996 3200scr has a lean to the port side when at anchor. The boat is generally balanced and it seems to be leaning a little more than last year. I think maybe water is trapped somehow on the port side. Any ideas?

Also there has been about 1-2 inches of water in the bilge since I’ve owned it. I replaced the transom assemblies so it’s not that. Water coming in from the port engine side for sure (maybe linked to my query above) and a little from starboard I think. I plugged both drains to determine that. I’d rather a dry bulge, so any clues where water may be entering? It’s more noticeable after rain or cruising.

Neither issue is unsafe, both are annoying!

After cruising check to see if the bilge water is warm, if so it’s a leak on an engine. Do you boat in salt water, if so is the bilge water salty or fresh?

Ok. I will. Would that happen when in the pen at the yacht club tho?

And I know why it’s leaning. Macerator pump not working and there is 200+ litres in the holding tank, port side.

Thx

As long as the engine is at operating temperature any water leaking from it will be warm.

You said it is leaning on port side, but you also said it is leaning on the side with holding tank which on my 3200 is the starboard side. Do you have a generator on the port (left) side? Also when it rains and if not totally covered water can get in seats and they drain into bilge. Make sure a/c pump isn't leaking.
