Is it worth having someone repair my 16 year old fridge or is it just better to buy a new one. The compressor comes on and runs in 12 volt and 110 volt modes but not cooling. Its been flawless in operation for 16 years but maybe its time to get a new one?
Welcome aboard! And to answer your question no.......buy a new one. I went through the same thing on my 01 3000. Some of the problem of fixing them is that the parts are not available anymore.
Thanks for the opinion .... I'm pulling it out and having a refrigeration guy look it over but I'm thinking it will probably need a new one to solve the problem.

Didn't want to buy a new one because this one is for sale. 3100 SCR 2003 with 300 hours. Clean as whistle.
Just wanted to add that there are virtually no appliance repair centers in our area that will work on boat refrigerators. Funny thing was... an RV center is where I went.
