Default 1999 Maxum 3700 SCR

Above the sink in the galley are two switches. One turns on the ceiling lights in the galley. The other one on my boat does nothing I can tell. Does anyone know what that switch is for?

welcome to the zoo...most likely it turns on the water pump to provide fresh water from the tank in the engine bay....(most of them are located there)....

hopefully one of our other 3700 owners will chime in..

We have 1998 3700 and we only have one switch. Our fresh water pump is swathed on in the AC/DC panel in the aft cabin. Sorry I couldn't be of any help. I been through everything from bow to stern and have figured out most things. Yesterday I ordered a new waste holding tank. Once that is installed I will have replaced or rebuilt everything associated with the sanitary system over the past year.

Sorry I couldn't be of any help.

Pull the plate, and see if it is wired to anything?
