So did u buy the boat? I must need a reading comprehension class. It sounds like you are buying parts for a boat you don't own. Following as I'm crewing on same boat and relied upon for my mechanical IQ..

Hey, everyone!
It’s been quite a while, and I guess I owe you all an update. I did buy the boat. Prior to the sea trial and finalizing the sale, I split the cost of the bellows, gimbal bearings, and shift cables replacement with the seller. Everything ran well during the sea trial. She got up to 32 mph @ 4500 RPM. Temp and oil pressure were good. Steering was a bit wonky and will probably need some work.

Here's a list of all the things I've fixed/replaced in the first two months of ownership:
- Battery charger and port/stbd batteries
- Replaced both bilge pumps & float switches
- Repaired cockpit ice maker (bad micro-switch $5); works like a champ!
- Windlass inop; voltage good; removed motor to clean brushes and lube; fingers crossed!
- Waterproofed the leaky canvas and polished the opaque vinyl; at least I can see through it now
- Replaced broken anchor light
- Fixed an under-seat storage bin that collapsed into engine room
- Replaced cracked/leaking hot water heater drain valve
- Replaced manual toilet pump
- Rerouted cockpit sink drain line to remove kink
- Sealed leaking radar arch (removed old antenna)
- Sealed leaking fwd hatch
- Removed all the old AV equipment except radio & TV; replaced two speakers

Things still on the to-do list:
- Replace impellers, props, engine belts
- Replace/reseal thru-hulls
- Flush/sanitize freshwater system
- Fix spotlight (turns on; doesn't pan)
- Fix port windshield wiper
- Replace canvas/vinyl
- Upgrade to LEDs throughout, including nav lights
- Get the genny running
- Add vent filter to holding tank
- Manufacture window screens (I am NOT paying $$$ for new ones)
- Fix small internal leak in hot water heater; at least it works well!

That should keep me busy the rest of this season and all the off-season in storage. I apologize if anyone has tried to view the photos I posted. I rearranged them all, so the old link doesn't work. Here are new links:
Windlass & Anchor

Trailer & Exterior

Plumbing & Head
Engines & Outdrives
Electrical & Generator
Cockpit & Helm
Cabin & Galley
Canvas & Vinyl

From here on out, I’ll start new topics to specifically address things as they come up. I’d like to thank everyone for all the advice and support, both to me directly and from all the other threads I’ve read through so far. I look forward to being a helpful member of this community for the foreseeable future. Thank you!

‘Goose

Default Google drive links won't work

I figured out how to upload and attach files to my posts, so I removed access to my private google drive. Thus, none of the links in this thread will work going forward. If you want pictures of anything specific, just ask and I'll be happy to send them to you.
