Default The part of this hobby that kind of hurts

I guess it's less painful on the trailer than at Dangling Rope Marina 45 miles up lake where it is 5.25 a gallon.

Phillbo..... Put $300.00 in this weekend at a $4.69 a gallon at one of our marinas. For me that is $150.00 a side (got 2 75 gallons tanks). At this marina if you spend over 200.00 bucks for gas you get a free pump-out (normally $10.00)...........boy I got a warm fuzzy on that one.

Best part is when I started the engines up the gas guages (plural) went from 1/4 to only 3/4 full :-(................

Could be worst.........

So how much is it out there? Just filled mine up for the first time this year. Had still been running on last years top off.
I have a baby boat compared to yours but still holds 45 gallons.
Needed 35 to fill it @ 3.26 per, not too bad I thought.

My marina is te cheapest on middle river about $0.20 to $0.30 above street gas so right now $3.85. I typically but 30 - 40 gallons in my 70 gallon tank less impact for the wife

Gas is $4.25 a gallon at the road pump here in central Illinois. South of the chicago area a gas refinery has been shut down for a month or so hence the higher than national average gas prices. Boat gas is around $4.70 but that will jump up soon if road gas goes any higher.

Which marina? I was at Sunset Cove yesterday and was trying to look at gas prices on the way in.
