Charger to battery, there are no negative connections on a battery switch.

The new unit will come with these directions as well as wire sizing guide based on the length of the wire run.

I did. Everything tested out fine. I pulled both batteries. The first one was completely dead and had never been on the charger, since I've owned the boat. The second one was a starting battery, which I'm guessing was installed by accident. After having replaced both, all is running fine. I had the boat out all last weekend and had no issues at all. I'm hoping that this is the end of that problem! I am now onto trying to figure out what happened to the water flowing to the head. It was working until I pumped out, now it's completely dry.
