Default Questions on cabin seating/bed area

Hello,

Picked up a 2001 2400SCR. In the cabin area there are a few pieces that can be added to turn the bench area towards the bow into an additional sleeping area. Have a few questions on that. First off, it appears the middle back cushion lifts up and there is another cushion under it. Is that part of the sleeping area? Seems kinda weird to have that up and sleeping under it...would think it could possibly fall back down on a sleeping person. Not how I'd like to be woken up lol. The second question, in order to turn it into a large bed, there are 2 extra wood pieces and and additional cushion. My question is, where do you put those when they are not in use? Is there some hiding place I am not seeing? They take up a ton of room in the cabin if they aren't being used so can't see just leaving them there. Do most folks just leave them home unless they are needed? Thanks for any info. It's been fun learning all the cool new things my boat can do. I'm coming from an 1800SR3 which was a bow rider, so this has all been a big learning curve. But fun!!!

Thanks!!!!

Yes the forward berth is not the best by any means. Yes your legs extend into the area of the flipped up center section. On mine the dinette table top rests on side rails screwed to the sides of the wrap around seating then a filler cushion is added. No there is no place designed to store the cushion. I’ve never used it.
