Default Prop size question.

Hello everyone.
I have 2006 2400 sc3 with mag350 and bravo 3. I am replacing outdrive and could not find one with the same ratio ( 2.00 ) , got one with 2.20. One of props was broken anyways 24 pitch ( 48-823665 ) . I was wondering how can i figure out if i can use different pitch/size prop to keep boat performing as it should. Thank you

I doubt you will be able to prop your way out of having the wrong gear ratio. Achieving the correct WOT and hull speed are dependent on the correct gear ration for a given engine which is why they make different ratios.

The problem is, i do not know if it is original setup. All I can find shows 2.20 ratio for my boat. Not even sure where to look for correct size etc.

Contact Mercruiser and give them the engine serial number and boat information and they will tell you the correct gear ratio you should be using.
