Default New owner of 2000 2800 scr in need of a little help

This is my first cruiser so forgive me if I sound inexperienced cause I am. Anyway, the boat came an egg crate in the mid berth. Is this what came with the boat new or was there some kind of matress? Also, the boat has ac, and I assumed heat, but when I turn the thermostat to warmer, nothing but cool air. how can I tell if it has heat?

Welcome aboard.

What do you mean by egg crate? Most mid berths are either a full bed or have a fill piece.

Does you AC system have a know that says cool and heat? If only one know that goes from cool to warm it is only AC and no heat

Can you post a picture of what you are looking at

There should be a mattress. The mattress cover material in the vberth and midcabin both match. Not all AC models have heat. If there is no HEAT setting, then you are dealing with warmer or colder AC.
