Default new cockpit table 2900se

i did 't care for the white plastic table that came with the boat so i pondered on a design. i was contacted by a historic building restorer who told me he was restoring an old church abd had recovered so excellent cedar planks,so that is where i started. i used the old table as a template but enlarged the total diameter by 8 cm. i wanted to have a personal touch so i decided to draw a celtic triangle .the process was explained very well on a web page .you use a geometry set compass . after i drew the design i used a soldering gun to burnthe design into the cedar wood.after some sanding i took my wife's toll paint and colored the inside.5 coats of varnish later i think it will suit out boat.

Look great Spud. How heavy is that new piece as compared to the original? Will the old hardware handle it?

cup holders are incorporated in the seating area where the table will be placed, ( my wife said she would cut off the hand of the first person that sets a drink on the table) . ha!
