Default nav light switch

Can anyone help me I need to find out the placement of the wires on the nav light switch. The wires are numbered. Also does the switch operate monetary or should it stay in position, thanks

The nav switch should always stay in the position you switch it to, depending on the switch you have the wiring will be different. Some switches double throw meaning you can just turn on the anchor light in one position but in the other position it would turn on all the nav lights. If you could post a picture I would be able to tell you.

The two center tabs on the switch as you hold it so it toggles up and down are the power in the two center tabs on the top and bottom should be ground for the internal lights of the switch the top outer two would be power out one for the nav lights and one to the stern light the opposite corner of the one you hook up to the stern light would be for an anchor light.
This is the way it was on my old boat.
If you go onto you tube there should be a video on this.
