hey ed...check to see if all the plugs are in....there should be one on each manifold....side of water pump....etc....those blue plugs are sometimes tough to see and reach..

keep us informed...I sure hope you don't have a cracked block...

hey ed
mine isn't leaking but i have a gas mixture with water again @#$%^&^%$#@
put in the special stuff last year but it died on me in the middel of the waterway when i opened up the trottle.
i could however start the engine again and creep back to the harbour with about 5 miles an hour.
will have to suck the water out of the tank again (had about 6 liters water in the tank last year)
i'm glad it was very calm on the river

and
perhaps, keep the boat and trade in the wife

Rens,

If you have a water in fuel problem you can always add mentholated spirits or ethanol to the the fuel tank, this then allows the water to mix with the fuel and you can burn it off and will not get the stalling problems, I know a boating friend of mine that also has a distilling problem and uses all his 1st pass liquid in his boat, he lives in a very tropical environment and has had nothing but problems with water in fuel, since adding the ethanol to the fuel he has not had an issue and if you are worried about engine life I think he is living proof its ok, he would get about 80 hours a week in the boat EVERY week.
Just a suggestion.

yo rens,

water in the fuel.....i know it....had it....been there......can make a person very pissed of at a certain moment....

trade in the wife......no option....she has the code af the savings account....(hahaha)

if i would have the code the savings account would be something like an empty house or a fridge filled with nothing.......

Ed,

This plastic housing that was leaking water, was it the fuel pump module cover housing by any chance?

Sounds like the same area and that has raw water flow thru it.

hai cassy

no it was'nt that part, it was the plastic part when taking the bleu screw plug out the last drip of water comes out......with the new blocks it's down under on the right side of the v belt......my boat was by the mecanic this week he took the tail of but that was dry inside so no problems there, so he looked at some other things like the plug down at the back of the boat and the holders of the swimming platform took it out and installed it again with new sealant and more of these things. so coming monday she's going to swim again and we will see if she stays dry inside the motorhatch.....fingers crossed.....

let you know.....greatz,ed

well today we have put the boat in the water again and after a few hours she was still dry under the hood, so let's hope it will stay that way then the problem is solved and was it the house of the drain plug......fingers crossed.....

greatz, ed
