Mercathode rewire

Hi
I stupidly snapped the two wires near the mercathode transducer there is not enough left showing to solder
Can these be re wired or do you need to buy new

While I’ve never done it I don’t see why you can’t solder in wires to reconnect as long as these connections are water tight.

I believe it’s stranded/tinned wire.
