It is very doubtful you'll find one of those. You're best bet is to find a fiberglass/fabricator to make you one. The Maxum name might be tricky. It might be worth replacing both with fabricated replacements so that they match.

Yeah, can’t even find a boat scrapyard anywhere, surely there’s a hole in the market somewhere. Surely there’s boats that are just wrap that people want to get shot of somewhere!! There has to be a Maxum out there that’s falling to pieces that someone somewhere wants to sell the parts off of it!!! But you’re right, it’s a fibre glass fabricator I need I recon!!! Thanks for the reply though. I’ll let you know the outcome when and if I find one l😂😂

I agree with shrew. This type of question has come up but seldom is the item found. A scrapper would only stock items that are go8ng to bring in decent money for the effort of him storing it for years until it sells. Good luck.

The challenge is the major boat manufacturers had models ranging from 16 feet up to 40 feet. They also had a range of models where sizes overlapped like a mid 30's express and a mid 30 flybridge.

Any one size and model of a given year typically sells hundreds of boats. Every few years the vessel is redesigned. So take all the years and all the models of all the manufacturers. That would be a ridiculous warehouse.

Now consider that most of these items are durable goods that will last for decades. A guy might sell one of these dorade box covers ever few years. Does it make sense to inventory every size of every model and year?

Yes, you might find one in a boat scrapyard. They are scattered along our coasts. They usually store universal items and a bunch of junk boats.

Good luck.
