Default Macerator Woes 2000 3000 SCR

Hello Again All,

I have another question for you guys! My macerator pump is is giving me a headache! So when I depress the switches for the macerator it runs for about 10-15 seconds and just bogs down and stops running. I am thinking its 1 of 2 things.

1. The motor is bad on the pump and needs replaced.

2. There is something clogging the line not allowing vacuum to be created in the line to pump out waste.

I have a VacuFlush Head, with the Jabsco Macerator. Ive also searched for a Y valve and there is not on on the boat.

Have any of you had a similar issue on here? I know I am going to have to end up take the hose off the back of the pump to see if it runs disconnected.

Just wanted to put some feelers out there.

Thank You in Advance All!!

I assume that this is the discharge macerator? If so is the discharge above water or below water. If it's below water, then the seacock would need to be open.

From the macerator, follow-up the draw line to the holding tank. It should draw from the bottom of the tank. The pump discharge line on the holding tank should also draw from the bottom. Not all tanks have a Y. Some have a seperate discharge on the tank for the macerator and the pump out line.
