Default Jasper AC trouble

I have a 2000, 2700scr. I cannot get my AC to pump water. It worked last year. I checked the intake and strainer they seem fine. Any suggestions on what to check next.?

Welcome aboard!

Have you checked to verify the pump is getting 110VAC? The pump should be in the engine compartment just beyond the sea strainer. These pumps can lock up from sitting so it be time for a new one.

It may be air bound. Each spring I have to break the line downstream of the pump and burp the air out of the line until the water is up to the impeller.

Disconnect the water line near the AC unit with the pump running to purge out any air. You could also use a hose into the thru hull discharge to try and fill the line. Boat must be in the water for either.

An easy way to get the water going through the system is to turn your a/c on and then get your dry/vac hose up to to the outside water outlet and if your pump is working you should have water coming out shortly.
