Well it's not like you plan on using it for Light up night, right. Right?

She floats! Gawd this thing looks silly. It should take 800 pounds to force those barrels underwater, and that's all I'm expecting to lift.

I hope there are large wasters or a backing plate under those support arms going aft. I have to say that attractive and functional are mutually exclusive. No, you won't have girls in bikinis dancing on it at the sandbar, but it looks like you stand a good chance of getting the job done.

Time to go recover those old sunken logs for cash.

The support arms are lag bolted into a corner of the fiberglass where it is thicker and stronger, however I found on working loose yesterday when I did my first lift. I abandoned the job and will be installing a large support plate behind the fiberglass.

Also poling it just a 100 yards or so was a nightmare with wind and current, so ordered up a trolling motor.

I only had the barrels strapped on with a ratchet strap and one started working loose, so I need to figure out a better attachment method for those.

This is a 25' piling stuck at an angle in about 8 feet of water. If not for quitting due to the barrel and concerns on the support arms, I could have gotten this one vertical.

Once it gets stood up, are you going to re-drive it?

Yes, but not there. It belongs about 100 feet from where it is stuck.

My plan is to pull it up and get it unstuck, then lay it down and let it float. Drag it around to where I need to be, drill the hole with a pressure washer with a 14' wand, stand it up and drop it in the hole. Then adjust as necessary with the pressure washer to get it to the right depth.

Interesting old thread, what ever happened? Do you still own the boat?
