There is five Cushions. When the berth is made for sitting, you will have one long seat with a smaller same length back rest. Another shorter seat with same length back rest and a square center cushion that is over top of a lid that is an access panel to your effluent tank.
Remove the square cushion and it will fit on the floor. Remove the two back rests and place them parallel with the same length sitting seats. You should have two dowels that are about two feet in length and 1" square. These fit into the two slots, on each side just below your sitting seats. They support the backrest cushions from sagging into the floor. Sleep with your head on starboard side of the boat, feet toward the port side. Sleeps two quite comfortably. As your legs are on the shorter backrest you never notice them. We usually have some of our luggage below the bed at night for storage also. Sleep tight.

First of all.... welcome to the website......I have been watching this thread just to see if someone does know how to set the cushions up. I have a 2001 3000 scr and for the most part it is our storage catch all area on our boat but with grandkids get older it might be something else a few years from now.

Thanks Gotsmart for directions! Happy 4th of July!
