Head wont flush 2900 Maxum 2001

Ive looked through the manual, but I cant seem to find out why the head wont flush. I moved the sea cock level to 90degrees which should mean that it is open, allowing the water to come in and flush the toilet. Ive also filled the fresh water tank. Is there something that I am missing?

What type of head are we talking about? Manual flush, electric flush, or vacu-flush? Is the boat in the water when you are attempting to flush?

I would have thought 90degrees was closed not open

The seacock handle should be inline with the hose to be in the open position. Then if manual head the lever on the head must be in the wet position.

I have a auto flush or electric flush toilet. The handle is inline with the hose. I checked my fuses. When press the button next to the toilet to flush. Nothing happens.
I am in water when I attempt to flush the head.

If it's a Vacu Flush you should hear the vacuum pump running after you attempt to flush. If you are not hearing that and not generating a vacuum then the pump might be bad or turned off if there is a switch (mine does not have a switch so it primes when I turn on the main battery switch but I have read on here that some people do have switches to turn off their vacu flush).

@ Phillbo. The battery switch. Do you mean the main batteries. I have two.

Yes , the main battery switch. My vacuum pump primes the system when I turn on the main switch.

90 degrees in relation to the hull would be open. 90 degrees in relation to the seacock would be closed. It really depends on what the angle is in relation too. (I think of the handle in relation to seacock as well, since the object the handle is controlling is the seacock, not the hull). However, I don't think that makes us right.

I don't have one, however i have used them before. Many of them have a seperate pump switch as well. Though all of the ones I've seen like that the switch is right there next to the flush switch.

I have a 2002 2900 SCR with a Jabsco toilet. Are you getting power or is it the water flow? With water flow check the sea cock and make sure that bottom paint or something else isn't clogging the seawater intake. If it's power check the switch (mine is near the sink)... Check fuses, my boat has two sets of fuses. One set under the dash and another in the engine compartment near the battery switches...
