Default Fridge or Coolbox

Hi all.

I'm a newbie to this forum and to motor cruising. I've just had a pre-purchase survey done on a '99 Maxum 2300sc. No documents (currently) available. Neither the boat yard or the surveyor can make up thier minds whether it has a fridge or coolbox in the cuddy! Anyone??

Post a picture of the inside of the unit. A fridge will have a on/off switch inside.

I might want to look for a different surveyor if yours can't determine the difference.... Does it have an on/off switch and thermostat?

You'll be interested to learn that another surveyor looking at a Regal Ventura I was planning on buying also couldn't spot the difference.

I'm not with the boat, so not in a position to answer your question. If I was - I probably wouldn't need to ask!

Can show how this is written?? A boatyard and 2 surveyors across 2 boats wouldn't all be so clueless. I'm wondering if this is an issue with syntax.

Are these simply generic references? e.g.:

Item: "Fridge/coolbox"
Condition: Normal
Status: Functioning within parameters
