Better than a guess use quicksilvers propcalulator.

Prop Selector | Quicksilver Propellers | Mercury Marine

The factory prop size for this boat is 18.25 x 19

I just bought this same boat and having WOT rpm issues and Mercruiser is telling me, no matter what different ways I edit the program, that I need 17.25 x 25.

I am going to start a thread asking others what props they have as cannot make a mistake when purchasing these expensive props.

I rebuild Volvo Duo Prop drives and was blown away by the price on the Bravo 2 props compare to the aluminum DP's. Actually more money. WOW

The OP has 4.3's so most likely Alphas drives and not Bravo 2.

17.25 x 25? 25" diameter? Bravo 2 is designed for a max of 20" to my knowledge.

Duh strike my comment on diameter that's the pitch which is still way too much IMO.

We need to be careful about comparing apples to oranges. Alpha I is not a Bravo II or Bravo III. Gear ratio of the drive plays a big factor in these calculations as well.
