Ebb and Flow

For nearly two years I have been asking for advice regarding my SC22000.


Thank you to everyone that has offered their advice and knowledge. I have learnt so much about my boat.

For nearly two years now I have only been able to idle anywhere.

For nearly two years, it has sat in my driveway, laughing at me, while I cried.

For nearly two years I have sent parts away, sent it away, had people crawl all over it. And still I cried.

And then I met a man, who has worked on Old Maxum's.

15 minutes later he found the problem.

For nearly two years, the Choke has been stuck on.

If I didn't laugh, I would have cried.


Now it goes like a rocket. Never been so good.

Nearly the end of summer here.

Now to make up for lost time.

Don’t need to be a Maxum expert as the engine is a Mercruiser with an old school carburetor. Sorry it this long to resolve the issue but on lin3 troubleshooting can be more difficult then seeing it in person. Enjoy ��
