Default Bow crazing

First post so please let me know if anyone needs anymore information to help out.

I have a 1998 maxum 2300SC I just purchased last weekend, took it out twice and while I was swimming and looking at the boat from the water I noticed some crazing around the bow. I don’t know whether it happened over the weekend or I missed it when I looked the boat over. Crazing is approximately 2 inches in diameter, in 3 spots around the same area. Was wondering if anybody had any guidance or information on if this is purely cosmetic etc etc. Pictures are attached for reference.

Thanks all.

Spider cracks! They typically only go the depth of the gelcoat and are from impact or flexing. I would say impact based on you location. The typical fix is to grind out the crack with a tapper cut then refill with new gelcoat. You’ll need to experiment to color match the hull.

So you would say they tentatively look purely cosmetic? I personally haven’t hit anything with it just yet but I may over overlooked it, or maybe happened while I was trailering 2 hours home from when I picked it up. I plan on getting around to getting quotes/researching more myself to do it but I’m hoping it doesn’t keep me out of the water for the time being. Thanks
