Default Boarding ladder

Does anyone know the model number of the boarding ladder that was on the 2001 2300SCs? It's a 4 step Windline telescoping, but I can't find a model number on it.

Did you check: https://windline.com/index.php?act=products&cat=12

We know it's probably not a "Dive Boat Ladder", a "Pontoon Ladder", a "Gunnel Ladder" or a "Transom Ladder". So that leaves:

1) Mount UNDER swim platform
2) Mount OVER Swim Platform
3) Side Mount boat Ladder (Very Doubtful)
4) Pocket Boat Ladder

Just a take a look at the categories and see if you can find one that looks like yours. Each model on the site should include detailed technical description about length, width, etc.

I hope this helps.

Yeah, checked there first. From what I've found, it is a modified SM-3X made just for the Maxums. Got an email into them to see if they still have parts. Had a friend on the boat this weekend who thought that cover panel lifted up and I ended up with this. Figured I'd replace that broken black "ramp" while I have the cover off.

Great pictures . I'm having a little difficulty with my ladder staying in place and could not see how to take the cover off. Did you just pry it off? And more importantly, how will you reseat the cover?

I'm a new Maxum owner and trying to find out how to get things working. The boat came with lots of owners manuals, but they don't mention this accessory. Thanks......Mike

The cover is secured with four screws coming up from the platform and a bead of adhesive. The wood core of the cover had a little rot in it so the the screws pulled out of the wood. I loaded the wood core up with Git-Rot and let it cure for a week. I then cleaned up both mating surface with sandpaper and Acetone and bonded the cover down with 3M 5200. Seems like it's secure.

I need help finding the part number for the OEM slide mount telescoping ladder made by Windline. I called Windline and they have no clue if they have any in stock without having the part number.

Roo_Man,
Are you missing the ladder, or is yours just damaged? Windline provides a lifetime warranty on their ladders and are great to work with. If you still have it, return it and you will get a new ladder, no questions asked. If it's missing, the first thing you need to do is tell us what boat and year you have.

Roo-man, welcome aboard!!!!

CountryME has a good point. If you have it still, please feel free to take and post a pic. If not, then year and model of the boat would be helpful as well. One thing to consider it calling US Marine or a local Bayliner/Searay dealer for a part number as well.

Default maxum ladder

Just had same thing happen to my 2300. Except I lost ladder and cover in the drink. Did you end up finding a replacement ladder? Having hell of a time finding one. S.O.L. on cover.

Have any if you found a replacement ladder for Maxum boats mentioned above. Contacted Windline, told me it was custom made for Maxum. Bayliner now doing all Maxum service requests and they hand no clue. They don’t have any info for A 18 year old Maxum boat.
Pics attached with what is left of my ladder (slide mount)

Any mount over swimplatform ladder that fits the space will work.

I wish that any over mount ladder would work but that's not the case. The hatch cover is not hinged, it is screwed and glued down, not intended to be removed but someone unfamiliar with the situation "lifted" the hatch cover and dropped the ladder into 110' of water. The ladder must slide and telescope, not fold. This is a pocket type design. Unfortunately, I have spent exhaustive amounts of time searching every site conceivable to find a replacement with no luck.
