Default And she's gone...

The transport company came and picked her up today... She's on her way from Long Island, NY to Australia!!! The Maxum 2400 SCR was my first boat and I'm very sad to see her go. Thanks for a great forum! Signing off....

How did you get a buyer in Australia? Did you use a broker?

Hi Keith, She still hasn't left New York due to the weather. Getting a little anxious as it will soon be winter here. Will send you some pics of her when we are on the great barrier reef in August
Cheers

Hi Phillbo, I am the guy in Australia who purchased the boat from Diggin2day (Keith). I found it by searching US websites of boats for sale and then went through a broker in Australia to guide me through the process of importing it. A little bit of messing around involved and required me to purchase a new trailer but was a pretty painless process.

Cheers

Thanks Mike. I can't wait for the boat to arrive. Have a couple of shakedown weekends planned and then will be heading to North Queensland (Great Barrier Reef) for a month live aboard. Hopefully plenty of snorkelling, fishing and beautiful clear blue water and unpopulated beaches. Life can't get much better than that.

Cheers
Tony
