Interested in installing a remote windless on my 2007 Maxum 2400 SE. Has anyone here done this? Could I use power from the useless remote light on the bow? Just curious if anyone on this page has added one? Any information would be helpful. Happy 4th of July!
The wiring for your spot light can not handle the current needed to power a windlass, however I believe you boat should be prewired for a windlass. Have you looked in the anchor locker to see if there is unused heavy gauge wires?
