Default 4100 SCA water gauge

The water gauge is not working in my soon to be my boat. Any suggestions on how to fix it?

Would love to have the gauge . Maybe somebody else has repaired it already . Where are you buying your 4100? Not many for sale

Marinett, WI. I am going to look to see how to fix it. Has to be the float, loose wire or the gauge.

Just as a quick check - mine reads empty unless I have the freshwater pump turned on.

check the type of sender you have. Either the internal 'float' style, or the external 'sensor' style. Check that the connections to the sender is good as well. Senders go all the time.

Glad it worked ... freaked me out a bit too the first time. I had turned off the pump when we left the boat (to prevent 'feeding' a leak if one developed) and when we came back I thought the tank had leaked out completely.
