2900SCR --- No such thing?

Just bought a 2004 "2900SCR" but I can't find anything that lists such a model as being valid. I see the 2900SE listed... is it the same with trim differences?

I'm looking for an owners manual and suggestions as to where to source information, parts and knowledge.


Soon to be cruising the San Juan Islands and general Puget Sound. ( Knowledge and Experience needed first).

Ok, being that I own a 2900 SCR, I'd have to say that it does exist. The 2900 SE model is basically the same boat but newer.....Since the Maxum brand folded you have to deal with a Bayliner dealer now. Try calling 360 435 8957 or 865 397 8314, customer support for the manual . Good luck!....

In 2004 Maxum began calling the boat a SE, previously the SCR.

If you look at the stern of the boat, you will see it's tagged as a 2900 SE.

The owner probably just made a typo when putting her up for sale.

Sure enough... All the paperwork says SCR but the boat reads 2900SE ( as my daughter pointed out....) And I have found this website : www.maxumcustomercare.com which has PDF owners manuals. Now to start reading.
