Default 2500 SCR Air Conditioning

I’d like to add air conditioning to my 2001 2500SCR as a "do-it-yourself” project. Question – has anyone else done this/ or have a boat with factory A/C? Where did they put the A/C unit, ducts, and vents?

Thanks all!

welcome to the zoo...depending on a lot of things for an AC system instl....you could possibly put it in one of the storage bins under the vee berth nearest the AC pwr panel for a short electrical run....if you have that area in the midberth that is storage at the feet on the stbd side...that's where my boat and my ole 2700scr had the AC unit installed....the vents were one in the fwd salon....the other was in the midberth ....which is noisy as hell as it cycles on and off...
