Default 2400 SCR Pictures

I'm just craving seeing some other SCR's out there. The one we were supposed to buy more than a month ago is still in 'quarantine' up in the San Juan Islands and we can't get to it. We still plan to, once shut downs end...

But would love to see other peoples 2400s especially your mods, upgrades and updates. upholstery, electronics, motor, swim steps... all of it.

something to feel like I'm on the water... lol

Why is the boat quarantined? Can't you go up and get it and play by the rules?

Depends on how I read the rules and how seriously I take them. Technically people who don't live on the islands have been asked not to visit the islands during this time. The owners of the boat own property up there, where the boat is kept, but live on mainland and are abiding by social distancing rules as well....

Makes sense then. Maybe he could move the boat to the mainland unless he is not allowed to leave the island?

I got a hold of his local mechanic up there who put the new long block in it a couple years ago and located a surveyor. so if all goes well I might be able to get that done next Thursday. and if THAT goes well, we're going to send the boat down south to where I live hopefully the first week of May. I'll hide it at the marina for a few days and show my fiance when we get married May 15th. I gotta make a lot of things work in a short period of time without COVID getting in the way though, lol.

Getting closer. Survey scheduled for next Friday May 1st with 2 hour inspection followed by 1 hour sea trial. if all goes well we motor the boat south to "A" marina.

can't get a marina to answer the phone at the moment, or emails! so no idea where I'm going to moor yet.
