WOW 8 year old thread!
eBay may have used ones but IMO remove them and replace with new Decals you can have made.

These letters (In a complete set) haven't been around for about 6-8 years. I bought a full set from Great Lakes Skipper about 10 years ago. At this point, you're better off removing them all, and having a vinyl graphics company make up a replacement set for you.

Shrew is spot-on. For most of us the best option is to remove what is left of our raised gold MAXUM emblems and pin strips for that matter and replace them with vinyl. I found a guy locally who does vinyl wrap work.

I lost the M off my 2400 SCR somewhere in San Francisco Bay. I just had 2 of these letters duplicated in 3/16" thick acrylic. I took the other M into FAST SIGNS, San Rafael, California. They scanned and laser cut a duplicate out of clear acrylic. The only difference is it won't have the gold foil back and the slight beveled edge. The gold back round on mine are badly tarnished and will re finish by masking and refinishing any way. Had 2 M letters made and is exactly same size and style.
I wanted to keep the original MAXUM lettering as most of the original letters are impossible to find.

I don’t care for the look of these plastic letters so I just removed mine all together. Everybody has their own taste.

mmwjr......Here in California we like the look of the original lettering. I only had the M missing and this company nailed it perfectly. My neighbor owns a Maxum and they made a missing U for him. I was trying to help others looking for the raised plastic letters....what ever floats your boat....

Calguy; no issues here. You have been here long enough to know that some want their boats to look factory fresh, some replace these 90's plastic letters with either newer letters or vinyl stickers and other like me just remove them.

Shrew ....your name is priceless too. I posted merely to make the point that the letters can be had. Anyone can rip these letters off the boat and replace with nothing or plastic graphics. Forgive me for even trying to help on this post....
