2400 SCR cabin door
If anyone is looking for the material for their acrylic cabin door on their 2400SCR, I found pretty much an exact match!
I ordered a piece roughly the dimensions on my old door and had a shop cut and shape it. It looks almost identical! The color is the same.
The supplier is:
Professional Plastics
.375 thick Bronze #2370 extruded acrylic paper-masked sheet
SACRBZ2370.375EP
It was around $160 for the piece cut a little larger than the door dimensions.

Thanks for sharing. Can you post some pictures of the old and new door?

Mike,
I feel pretty old right now! I have the picture of my new cabin door on my desktop but can't figure out how to post the actual image here, in this window.
I uploaded it using a manager but still can't get it to post.
Do you know how to do it step by step?
Sorry it took me so long to reply but I'm moving..... still

She’s can post the step by step. To be honest I have trouble myself. I click the paper clip then use the browse button to navigate to the picture. Select it the select upload. Then I have to close the window and if I select the paper clip again the picture is there to add.

Quote my post or start a new post.
Go down to Manage Attachments and click on that. A new window will open. Click on Choose a file. New window open. That is your PC window. Find your picture and click on it. The last thing you have to do is click Upload.

Here is the pic. I'm pretty pleased with the outcome! You can't tell if it's the original or new. Thanks for the help you guys.

Looks good, is that the original cowl (curved fairing) over the sliding top hatch? Mine like most crack and is missing half of it.

Yes, that is the original cowling ( if your referring to the cover over the sliding hatch. Mine is cracked too. I have been careful to keep it from breaking! I don't stress it at all! I keep the cap tight on the hinge of the hatch so it doesn't jump while underway.
What do you think of the door? I'm completely impressed how it matches in color and thickness. I would recommend the company I bought it from. It was pretty cheap since they would cut from a sheet. I almost bought enough to make three doors and sell two of them!
