Hi there, I bought a 2004 SC3 5.7 MPI, the throttle shifter is soo stiff going into reverse, unless super careful and slow it is quite harsh as I cannot feel that sweet spot, my last boat was a wee bowrider and I could shift it in and out of gear soo smooth, is there any know problems like cable issues
Try disconnecting the shift cable at the engine shift bracket to see if it shift easily. If so the lower shift cable needs replacement else the upper cable is bad.
