Default 2300 SCR - Entryway carpet wet when it rains

The entryway carpet get very damp in my 2300SCR when it rains. I cannot figure out where the water is coming from.

The most obvious culprit would be water leaking through the doorway - which includes a flip-up piece on the top, however, I could find no sign of any leakage through the door.

Any idea of where the water could be coming from? How it could be getting in?

How about the rub rail on the hull? Is it in good condition especially in that specific area? Water is likely leaking in along the rail and finding it's way inside. If you have a hanger closet next to the hatchway try checking inside the closet for water seepage next rain storm.

I did give that a check, and it didn't seem to be coming from in there.
