Default 2008 Maxum 2900 SE: what model of original anchor ?

Previous owner of my 2008 Maxum 2900SE, lost original anchor and now I have installed some replacement one which don't go down her self.
Can you advice me what anchor was originally installed in 2008 Maxum 2900 SE ?

P.S. I have Antares 1000W 12V windlass.

Best,
Rafal

Welcome aboard Mrzyglocki!! What is more important is what kind of bow roller does your boat come with? What type of waters do you anchor in? How long do you anchor and how frequently?

The key is to buy the anchor for the type of bottom conditions and waters you typically anchor in. The size based on the type and size of boat. Then a roller to fit the anchor and boat.

Personally, if you anchor frequently and overnight, I'd be looking at a Manson Supreme, Rocna or plow style anchor. I prefer the Manson Supreme and Rocna's. For a 2900, you'd be looking at a 22lb Rocna or a 25 lb Manson.

Thanks very much for advice, our lakes have much of greens so I think that plow style anchor will be ok.
I'm from Poland (Europe) and I do boat here in land of 1000 lakes called MAZURY. Pictures and more infor of this region you will find here: http://www.votemazury.org/en.html
