2007 2600se Fishing Pole Holes

Hi. I hope everyone is well out there. I have a 2007 2600se and I'd like to drill a couple of holes in side rails to add a fishing pole holders. I have looked through tons of pictures online to see if anyone else has drilled holes in the sides with no luck. I did find a youtube video of someone selling a similar boat and it appears they did add holders to the areas I'm looking at. Anyone out there drill into the sides where I'm thinking? Attached are pics of the 2 places. Boats and drilling holes always makes me really nervous.....
