Default 2003 2400scr swimplatform depth help

Hello Folks,

I have a 2003 2400 scr and have purchased a swim platform and are in the intial stages on building the mold. I have a choice of 40 inches all the way up to 48 inches in depth. This platform as you may know will go over the current swimplatform.

I would like to have as much room as possible back there..But I would like to hear comments from current swimplatform owners and the sizes they choose and why.

Pros an cons if i go full 48 iches.

Thanks in advance to anyone who wishes to answer.

Happy boating,
Cory

One way to look at is the built in platform is about 12 inches so going to the 48 inch one adds 3 feet. That's the way I would go.
