Default 2001 2500 scr

Has anyone installed a rod holder for a grill mount? Can I safely drill through the gunnel on the starboard side behind the sink? Are there wires to be concerned about because the battery switch is under the sink?
Any other suggestions or options would be greatly appreciated.

I installed a rod holder on the port side stern. Right near the door. I have a 2400SCR. I use it for both rods and my grill. I'm heading down in a bit to check after the storm and will snag a few pics for you.

Sure thing!! Just a heads up, I got I think a 30 degree angle holder. There is a support wall inside you can't see until you cut the hole. I had to cut the tube down a bit off the holder because it was hitting the wall. The wall is a bout where that brown mark is on the pic.
