I have some questions regarding taking my boat to the ocean. What do I need to do to prep and what do I need to do after to ensure my boat is good? I know I have to flush the salt water out with fresh water and power wash the outside to get the salt off.. is that it?

Another general question is where is the owners manual for my boat? I've looked everywhere including the documents on this website and can't find it. I would like to learn as much info about my boat including all operating procedures.

Welcome aboard

IMO the manual won't be much help but the mercruiser one will be.

Boating I recommend ocean you need to be sure the wave conditions are not more than the boat can handle and you are comfortable with.

Flushing and cleaning as you stated.
