1999 2400 SCR shower drain

Hello All,

I am the new proud owner of a 99’ 2400 SCR and am trying to fix it up a bit. For starters, the shower drain runs under the missing fridge area to a black molded fitting that is missing the screw on cap? It then goes into a pump which is just lying on the floor. Anyone have a pic of their setup and can tell me what the black fitting is for? I suspect it’s a screen, but is missing the cap? Thanks in advance for any help and thank you for your time.

Welcome aboard!

The shower drain hose should connect to the sump (plastic box with a pump in it). Google marine shower sump to see what it looks like or go to West Marines WEB site which not has pictures but tips that show how it should be connect.
