SRB 2100 Bimini Top ??
I want something similar to this that stows away in this fashion.
I DO NOT want a 4 post, with straps on the forward and aft. The 4 post pontoon Bimini Top appears to be the only thing that will fit a 8.5 foot or 102 inch beam width boat.
I still have what is considered the “convertible top” that snaps to the windscreen and I dislike it because I can’t hardly fish and I’m 6’3.
I’ve search Maxum and Bayliner, coming up with nothing I like. I’m also not going to spend 500.+ on custom unit. ANY ideas? LINKS are the best for me

Go to your local canvas shop. They can make what you want to the height you want.
I'm 6'4" and when I bought a boat years ago the only bad thing about it was the Bimini height..Local canvas shop hooked me up.

Ok, so you don't want a Bimini Top, and you don't like the Convertable Top that you have. On top of that you don't want to spend $500. This doesn't leave you with many options. A T-Top is about the only thing left and that would look really goofy on your boat type.
Let's focus on your comment on your height and that you can't fish. What is your ultimate goal here. You've stated you like one style over the other but that the style you have doesn't work. Is it overhead at the helm that is causing issues? A Convertable doesn't need to snap to the windshield. On mine I have what would be considered a Convertable, however it doesn't connect to the windshield directly. There is almost 2ft. between the front of the top and the windshield. There are clear eisinglass curtains that connect the top to the windshield and act like a second windshield.
Is that more like what you're looking for?

We don’t use it much, only after too much sun or to cool off occasionally. The goal is to have something that stows away nicely and is high enough when deployed.
The factory top snaps directly to the windscreen and is incredibly low. It has a zipper that can be undone for the open bow but that doesn't help much.
Is the picture above NOT a Bimini top? That’s exactly what I want but I can’t find anything like that for a 8.5 beam. EDIT: the only thing I can find for an 8.5 beam is a top for a pontoon boat that is gigantic and has soft straps in the front and rear and will not stow any better than the factory top.
You can see the snaps and imagine how low it is with the original, this is my boat….
This is the only pic I have with it up and it's hard to see with my big ass in the way

The factory bimini that came with my boat is similar to the picture you provided but ha only hard mounts. When stored it looks like the picture, when open has 3 hard mount on each side. I can stand under it and I am 6' 3".
Don't think you can get this for under $500

I think I need to measure again at the width of the windscreen approximately where this one is mounted. I'm sure it's not 8.5 there.

Looks like it has straps in the back, but if you are ok then hope it fits.

Both links have solid poles in the rear (you can mouse over for a larger view). I need to take more measurements before I order anything. Thanks for the help everyone.

You're more than likely going to need to have a custom cavas guy come out and fit you with what you're looking for. It's going to sxtart at $500. What your'e asking for is very doable. Mine has all solid poles and 6ft of headroom. You're going to need to either get eisinglass or leave the front and sides open.

You have peaked my interest. I’m about 99% sure the one I have that snaps to the wind screen surround is original to my boat.
Are you telling me there were 2 options and one you have is different than the one I have pictured?
May I please see a photo of what you have, if you have one? I may be extremely interested.

It’s huge and covers everything like I think it should. Doesn't look too bad stowed, normal IMHO. I wanted it for shade when we deploy it maybe 6 times a year. Glad to know it’s there and can protect my children from over exposure. I’m tall and can walk under it, exactly what “I” wanted and it’s my boat
Looking at these pics makes me sad.. The docks in Nebraska… especially on the river SUCK! Now I have to redo the MAXUM decals too.. Ugh.
