Default Propellor for 2002 Maxum 2100SD

Hi there,

I need to get a new propellor for my Maxum 2100SD. Does anyone have any suggestions on the typr of propellor or where I could get the propellor or perhaps additional information on the type of propellor that would work best for my boat?

Thanks.

It would be helpful to know what outdrive you have, Alpha, Bravo 3, ...?

But I would suggest using quicksilvers prop calculator to see what it recommends, google "quicksilvers prop calculator"

I have an Alpha 1 outdrive. The engine is a 5.0L on a 21' sundeck. Thanks for the suggestion of quicksilvers prop calculator Mike.

In entering data so the website can give me a propellor suggestion, it is asking for the weight of the boat without the engine. I am having difficulty finding tha data. The weight of the boat seems to be around 4400lbs but I cant find the weight of the 5.0L 305 V8 or the weight of the boat without the engine. Is there a site that has that kind of information?

Thanks,

Tom.

The engine and drive weigh about 1000 lbs but you can got to the mercruiser WEB site and look at stern drive packages and the weight should be listed there.

Thanks Mike. Selecting a propellor seems to be a bit of a black art. The suggestions I am finding (14p/15p) are different to the propellor currently on the boat 17P. I believe the suggestions may be different from the Maxum website (if I am reading it right) at 21P...

Maxum Customer Care

will keep looking and learning...

What is your WOT with the current prop? Should be 4400-4800 rpm.
