Default Parts replacement Help

Morning helpful people.

Just starting to rebuild my project Maxum and would like to know what refit jobs are feasible with the Transom shield and inner bracket fitted as I'd like to get the engine in. I'll pop the bearing and oil seal in for the transom bracket but would like to know if I will come unstuck later trying to refit other parts and service items...bellows, speedo shift cable or oil line etc. Never had the whole lot off before so unsure.thanks in advance.

It's an Alpha 1, Gen 2.

There should not any problem baring some corrosion in removing the gimbal bearing. I would look at the gear lube fitting on the assembly and if its the plastic one I would be looking to replace it with the metal one as the plastic are prone to breaking.

Can you post a picture of it? Was the lube line connected when you got the boat?

Hi Mike...I think whats happened here is in sourceing parts I wasn't really aware that the gen two has several incarnations...It appears i have different leg and gimble models although both are gen two.
Engine has the Oil feed res fitted, upper and lower leg have the oil path as you said but the shield, and gamble are blanked off...I have bought all of the parts separately. Plenty of time for me to fix so all thoughts welcome.

I've put the images on the Vitamin Sea link and will try to put here also but can't seem to manage it somehow...

Right...so I've done some digging and with the help of a Family run Marine shop I have sorted my issues..All the plugs are removable with a little effort.
