Default Panel Removal

I own a 1992 Maxum 1700 XR and I need to replace the little one step swim ladder that is currently on it. To do so I need to access the bolts holding it on therefore I need to remove some of the covered panels that line the inside of the boat. I don't know how to get those off to do this kind of work. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to do this?
I am also looking for a good 3 step ladder to swap out in place of the old one. Does anyone know of one that might fit here? The knees arn't quite what they used to be any more.

Thanks.

My experience is that the pannels are usually screwed from behind the panel and you have to find the screws by hand, usually hiddeen inside the "monky fur-lining". Typical to US mairne they can be located anywhere. There can also be additional "snap-in" buttons like on the door linings in older cars. So you need to pull the panel out.

Thanks for the response. Here is the panel that (I think) I need to remove. It seems to be the only logical way to access the bolts that are holding the ladder in place. Any Ideas?

You would be better off starting a new post with your spefic question as this is a very old post and those folks haven’t been around since.
