Default Ok. I bought a boat. Now what? :-)

Yesterday was one my "best days."
I bought the 2004 Maxum 2100SD that I mentioned in another thread. Today, 9 of us in it on lake Washington and lake Union today and had a ball!!! I was very impressed, even in the larger waves. I made a good choice!

I still need to replace a couple gauges. I fixed the speedo by plugging the pitot line onto the port on the speedo... It was firmly installed on the mounting bolt!!! May. Huge difference!

It has a few little things to tinker with, but as I thought, it seems to be a very solid boat.

I will be a regular on this forum in the future.

Happy Boating!

Rocky

Cozy, but doable. The SD is a bow rider so maybe 4 in the bow and 5 on deck?

My 2400 has a cuddy so everyone is on deck. 6 is cozy. Any more than that and everyone needs to be friends.

In fairness... 2 of the 9 were under 4 years old, and a lot of time swimming.. Actually, it was not all that crowded. It is the SD. Version so it is a very open floor plan.... The capacity plate says 10 people....

It wasn't really speedy out of the hole.... But it rode well

It was a great 1st day.. We have had several more great days, too....none others with 9 people, though!
